The Rome is a locally owned and operated Traditional Italian Restaurant in the Heart of downtown Columbia Missouri just minutes from campus. We serve only the freshest ingredients possible and make all of our Breads, Sauces, Soups, Pizzas, and Desserts from scratch daily.

The Rome offers a large dining room that can accomodate groups and provides catering for up to 100. The Rome is quickly becoming famous for our Full Gluten Free Menu, Catering menu and Family Style Service where the Platters and Courses don’t stop until everyone is full. Located On 9th Street The Rome is surrounded by ample parking with 3 parking garages within 2 blocks. I used The Rome for a 120 person event at work and was very pleased. I heard nothing but compliments on the quality of the food and The Rome even prepared separate entrees for 2 Gluten Free guests. They also worked with me on the budget I had to spend for this event. I would definitely use them again.
