Welcome to Shep's Southside Restaurant located in the heart of Historic Old Munichburg in Jefferson City, MO.  We are family owned and operated, known for serving made from scratch menu items daily. Our reputation for excellent food and service brings repeat diners from all over Mid Missouri in cities including Columbia, Holts Summit, Russelville and Taos.

At Shep's Southside Restaurant, our menu is chocked full of variety sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.  Specializing in our unique "Build Your Own Grill" in which a hungry diner may design their own meal by choosing a meat (and the topping) and 2 sides from over ten simple or premium side dishes.

Shep's Southside Restaurant is a member of the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce, the Old Munichburg Association and the Southside Business Association.  Shep's owners take an active roll in the community in which they reside and operate their business.

Our Hours
We are available to serve you and your family or friends Monday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday & Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Great place for a celebration lunch or dinner.

Took a couple of friends to Shep's Southside Restaurant for lunch to scope out the food. What a burger that Scott serves up! A couple of us had the stuffed burger and man-oh-man was it was said to be...yummy! I really loved how Scott catered to one of my glucose intolerant friends. He listened to what she had in mind and came out with the perfect salad to please. Had a great time and plan to bring others back soon. Thinking it would be a special place to take family out for birthdays too!
