Our daughter had her wedding at the ranch this summer. It is a beautiful venue with flexibility of use in case of rain. The pond area with the gazebo dock is where she had the ceremony and it was perfect! Her reception was in the event barn which is not air conditioned but it was surprisingly comfortable with the breeze that blows through it. Chris, the owner, was very easy to work with and very helpful too. It truly was a magical event for us all!

The ranch was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. We told them how many tables and chairs we would need an where and they were taken care of for us. The grounds were mowed and weeded the day before our wedding so everything looked very well maintained. Parking was clearly marked and convenient. One of my favorite parts was the sharing room. It is a room filled with flowers, tooling, bowsand many other decorations such as lights and signs that we were allowed to use at no cast. It saved us a lot of money. The only 2 down sides to the venue were the plywood floors upsatairs that just looked ugly especially in.pictures and the fact that the pier was not cleaned. Otherwise our experience there was amazing!!

We had a wonderful time when we used the Ranch for a Welcome Club luncheon meeting. There were 25 of us and we used the inside area of the barn. The owner, Chris, was very helpful; suggesting a local caterer and setting up the tables and centerpieces for us. She was even able to join us for lunch and talk about how the whole business got started. Our members loved the beautiful view, and spent time enjoying the pond, swinging on the swing, and exploring the grounds. Some even tried the steer roping! I would recommend The Civil War Ranch as a relaxing, casual meeting venue with lovely scenery and a helpful and knowledgeable person to suggest arrangements.
