About Us

About Us

Welcome to Cafe Palermo, located at 250 Lamar Parkway, in Pacific, MO.  Cafe Palermo opened it's doors April 23, 2012.   Nick and Julie Nicoletti have been in the restaurant business for a combined 30+ years.

Many years ago, Nick's Grandma Jean and Grandpa Frank made their was to South St. Louis from Palermo, Sicily. With them, Grandma brought her old world recipes and continued the tradition while raising three sons.

The sons were originally barbers until Mike broke out and decided to start a restaurant. With

the help from his nephew Nick they established Nicoletti's together 28 years ago. Nick has perfected Grandma's pasta dishes through the years and has decided to branch out on his own with what is now Cafe Palermo in honor of his Grandmother Jean.

In keeping with family tradition, Nick and wife Julie have created what they think will remain a mainstay for Pacific and the surrounding communities to enjoy with family and friends.

What We Serve:

Cafe Palermo hand cuts their steaks; there's nothing frozen here, but the mozzarella sticks.  The appetizers, shrimp and fish are all hand breaded and made to order.  From the soup of the day and the salads made with fresh vegetables to the sandwiches and pizzas the Necoletti's bring in the freshest ingredients possible.  For your dining pleasure the evening fare brings pastas drenched in oil, butter and garlic to white sauces and red with or without meats of many varieties , beef, chicken, port, and cheeses galre, ricotta, provel and parmesan.    Not to mention the freshest seafood, shrimp, cod, tilapia and grouper, fried in a tasty beer batter or charbroiled with lemon butter sauce.  To finish off these taste temptations is a dessert menu that rivals none....cheesecake choices are plain, turtle, or black and white and a strawberry swirl or for a lighter touch a seasonal fruit cup or a scoop of creamy ice crean either vanilla or Neapolitan on a hot summer's eve.

However, the creme de le creme of Cafe Palermo will be their beer and wine choices ranging from red merlots and carernets, Pinot noir, chianti, by the glass or Frontenac by the bottle or wines in chardonnays, muscato, pinot grigio, zinfandel, and blush.  The beers hail from Grey Eagle, Bud Light, Michelob (no platinum), Coors, Natural Lite and Busch with a few imports, Becks (light and dark) and Stella la Rosa.
